Shigen Ryu (四源の学流, Four Springs Style) was one of the schools of Unabara. They were first mentioned by the daimyo as a school of Judo. However, nothing is known of this school, its techniques or his members.

It should be noted that Judo was actually created in 1853, while the manga is set during the Edo period, making this an anachronism.
